Hi,

I am a dentist so this is some professional advice. You can use this list as a guide.

1. Brush regularly ( for about 2 mins at least twice daily, using a flouride tooth paste)

2. Floss at least once daily

3. Flouride mouthwash once daily

4.Visit your dental professional regularly ( at least twice per year)

for cleanings, xrays etc

5. Avoid snacking between meals. Minimize the use of sweets, soft drinks.

6. Eat healthy, Calcium is essential in the developing years.

7. Place dental sealants ( Ask your dentist for more details)

8. Know your mouth!! You see your mouth every day, so conduct regular self examinations in fron the mirror. You'll definately be able to pick up any changes.

9. Knowledge is power. Visit accredited websites more more info.

Thanks
Reply:How Do I Prevent Tooth Decay?

You can help prevent tooth decay by following these tips:

Brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste.

Clean between your teeth daily with floss or interdental cleaner.

Eat nutritious and balanced meals and limit snacking.

Check with your dentist about use of supplemental fluoride, which strengthens your teeth, and about use of dental sealants (a plastic protective coating) applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to protect them from decay.

Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral examination.
Reply:Go to the dentist twice a year for a check-up and brush/floss your teeth.
