When a tooth is dismembered from decay, what can fix it?is a root canal the only answer?please say no...lol
When a tooth is decayed badly what can help it?
If there is enough of the tooth below the gum line, I would think you could get a crown. I believe a root canal is only needed if there is a root problem.
Reply:I know doing nothing about it will make it worse. Dental appointments take time to get in. Make the call and then wonder while you are waiting. The dentist has good answers.
Reply:it depends on the extension of caries.. root canal is indicated only if the lesions extend to the pulp (when the lesion depth almost reach the tooth root).. better seek treatment b4 it's too late..
Reply:When your tooth is already falling apart due to decay - there's not a whole lot that can be done. A root canal is not the ONLY answer... they can extract the tooth and replace it.
Reply:well if your in alot of pain, the dentist will give you an antiboic for about a week and you will feel a whole lot better,,but when it has gone that far, the decay went to the nerve, there is on other choice but root canal.
sorry
Reply:AN EXTRACTION
Reply:NOPE!
This is where that elusive tooth fairy comes in the middle of the night and POOF! you're teeth are as good as new. This is just what I've heard. Don't ask how to summon her, I don't know it all.
