If you rub on a particular tooth and it has a odd smell, does that mean that there is decay in the tooth?

It either means there is decay or food particle is impacted there.

It could mean and abscess of the tooth or gum. You should get it checked out
Reply:Yes Usually,

You need to see a dentist ASAP !
Reply:it means you have a disease known as zackally---------your breath smells zackally like your butt
Reply:It could be that, or possibly food is caught between that tooth and an adjoining one. Floss, rinse and brush well.

Also, see a dentist at least once a year, twice is better.
Reply:It is very possible. Get it checked out; they may be able to fill it. Hope you don't loose it.
