Teeth decay -cavity?

On the top, 3rd from front there was a white patch up along my gum i didnt take much notice but it's been getting worse and worse and i know i need to see a dentist, its about a mm deep and brown looks awful when i smile =( what do you think the dentist will do ? Is it a cavity, please dont say i have to get my tooth pulled =(

He won't pull the tooth. The dentist would remove the decay then fill the resulting hole with a white filling.

Reply:Get it done ASAP or you might end up having it pulled. Abcesses are so not nice (had a couple when a kid - owwww!)





Even if that doesn't happen the longer you leave it the fiddlier the job becomes (and they have to keep redoing it - again I speak from experience).
