Are there any Bible verses about the evils of tooth decay?

Ezekiel 34: a : psalm 23.. Thou shall clean your teeth after meal and if you fail to do so God is ready to send an army of very little devils to give you unbearable pains similar to the ones you shall get in HELL FIRE when you combit odultery

There's a bunch of stuff about an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. I don't think it applies to decayed teeth, though.


Some people may interpret it that way, however.

Not to mention all times it talked about the "wailing and gnashing of teeth" in hell.





Then of course, there is the all-purpose verse about your body being the temple of God.

Reply:Hmm... I think the bible significantly pre-dates the concept of "personal hygiene", so I'm gonna say probably not.
