Is there anyway to repair a tooth decay without getting a filling?

If you have tooth decay you will have to have the dentist remove it so it doesn't spread throughout the tooth and that requires a filling. You could always have the tooth pulled, but that is not a wise decision. Most dentist don't like pulling teeth! You are supposed to have them. You shoud definitely get the filling. A pulled tooth can result in having to get an implant/crown which will cost you more in the long run. If you opt to not get the implant/crown it can cause occlusion problems. The filling is your best bet. Get the decay remove by the dentist and have an amalgam/composite filling place to keep the tooth healthy.

No there is not any other way unless you get them pulled.
Reply:as far as I know NO and if the tooth is decayed too bad then a filling wont help and it will have to be pulled having decayed teeth can cause infection and those infections can go through your blood stream and make you really sick or it could even kill you. I dont want to scare you but its the truth . get a dentist to look at it asap and see what they want to do.
Reply:Nope, you gotta face the drill. :0(
Reply:A filling is nothing in comparison to an abscessing painful tooth like what I have now. Just get it drilled.... ask them for something if you are nervous. It will be over before you know it.
