Is there any way to get rid of tooth decay?

I have some tooth decay on the inside arch of my lower teeth, and I'm wondering: is there any proven way to get rid of tooth decay? And if there is, what is it, where do you get it, and how does it work?

A dentist has to remove it....believe that's your only option.
Reply:Either get a filling or get the tooth pulled.
Reply:Morphine and a blowtorch.

...Oh, And a steady hand too.

Let me know how it goes, babe.
Reply:pull out your teeth
Reply:It is usually done by going to a dentist
Reply:brush your teeth?!?!?!?!?!
Reply:if the tooth is not dead yet, then it can repair itself. Lots of calcium (milk) and a little floride can help you slowly rebuild your teeth. If the root is dead, then you have to have it removed.
Reply:No other way put to have it pulled, if you don't if could get infected and spread to your other teeth
Reply:teeth are made of inert material, like calcium. There is nothing you can do to restore them except have a dentist put in an artificial restoration ( a filling).
Reply:Hi there.

Actually, tooth decay is inevitable...kinda like death. Sounds morbid, I know. Forgive me.

But here are some tips that will help you. This is my actual routine and I haven't had cavities in years!

Floss

Rinse with Listerine

Brush with Crest or Colgate

Rinse with water

Finally...

Rinse with ACT Floride

Now with your current problem, see a dentist. They will either put a fill in, or a cap or pull your teeth.

Take care!
Reply:Yes. It is called a Dentist?..Go to a DENTIST OFFICE?
Reply:The only way to get rid of tooth decay is by having removed by a dentist and then filled. There is not some sort of a medication or home remedy to fix this problem, if there was we would all use it.
