How to prevent tooth decay?

i have one tooth that has a tiny, like realy some hole in it. how do i prevent it from getting bigger. and if so get it smaller

How to prevent tooth decay?
The easiest way to help this type of problem is simply 1 time a day do not rinse your toothpaste. Brush, spit, DO NOT rinse/eat/drink for 30 minutes. Tooth paste has fluoride in it which helps harden enamel and prevent cavities, however you need to refrain from rinsing/drinking/eating for at least 30 minutes to let it soak in, in order for it to work. You could also use a fluoride rinse to do the same thing it just adds another step/product to buy at the store.

Also, brush 2 times a day for at least 2 minutes and floss 1 time a day. Most importantly, refrain from drinking soda or sugary drinks between meals (stick to these only at breakfast, lunch, or dinner) and chew sugar free gum.
Reply:use a strong mouthwash (listerine, crest, scope, ACT) and brush your teeth in the morning and at night

a good idea would be to take fluoride capsules or use one of the above mouthwashes that include fluoride. your dentist can recommend a good fluoride treatment.

also don't forget to eat healthy food and stay away from sugars.
