If you're at stage 2 of tooth decay(discoloration at base of teeth), how can you stop decay from going farther

Go to that link to see what I am speaking of. If teeth are slightly decayed, can you stop the decay from going further?

Your teeth are made up of many things. The outer surface is enamel. Under the enamel is dentin. If the decay hasn't reached the dentin it is possible to be reversed. By the looks of the picture the damage is only in the enamel. If this is the case, keep the area clean. Make sure you are brushing and flossing daily and add fluoride to your routine. This can help restrengthen the enamel and not become a cavity.
Reply:See a dentist for the best advice. Sometime ago I was worried about a tooth that didn't feel right after skipping brushing for multiple nights. I thought that brushing it more often than usual might aggravate it, so instead I made sure I rinsed with dental solution after every meal.
Reply:just brush your teeth and floss and i believe that if u go to a dentist they will take care of the rest
