Will my 6old month son have tooth decay if he keep nursing during the night?

He is taking breastmilk %26amp; formula during day time and only breastmilk during the night. He need to be fed three hourly.His tooth has not appeared yet. Will it be decay if he keep nursing during the night?

Reply:Why would he have tooth decay from breast feeding? I've never heard of such a thing..


I have heard if a baby falls asleep with a bottle in his/her mouth then that could develop tooth problems.. but never breast feeding.
Reply:no it will not... nor will it when teeth do erupt... if you are formula feeding with teeth in the night (or day), then yes it can... breastmilk will not.
